SKYDIVE DELAND
20 years prior to this mural being painted, David designed the Skydive DeLand logo (which was used to sell thousands of T-shirts) it was much the same as he re-created it here on the hangar in 1999. The only real changes were in the type of aircraft that Bob Hallett (owner of the drop zone) was using at the time. First was a DC-3, and after the logo was changed to a Twin Otter. Now the drop zone runs primarily the Sky Van, silhouetted in the painting.
